SAP S/4HANA is an abbreviation of SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software package. Organizations use SAP S/4HANA to integrate & manage business functions – such as finance, human resources, procurement, sales, manufacturing & service – in real-time.

SAP HANA, also known as High-performance Analytic Appliance, is a multi-model database storing data in its memory rather than keeping it on a disk. The column-oriented in-memory database design enables you to run advanced analytics with high-speed transactions – in a single system.
