Participants in this training programme gain a thorough understanding of Google Cloud networking alternatives. Through recorded lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs, participants investigate and deploy Google Cloud networking technologies, such as Google Cloud Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks, subnets, and firewalls. Additionally, the course covers load balancing, sharing networks, and network access management.

Participants should have the following prerequisites in order to benefit the most from this course: *Completed Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure or equivalent experience *Previous understanding of the OSI 7-layer model *Previous understanding of IPv4 addressing *Experience managing IPv4 routes
This class is intended for network engineers and admins either using Google Cloud or planning to do so. The course is also for individuals that want to be accoustomed to software-defined networking solutions in the Cloud.
Welcome to Networking in Google Cloud.
This module will cover the fundamentals of Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networking in Google Cloud. This includes the types of VPC objects, Cloud DNS, Internals DNS, IP aliases, and VMs with multiple network interfaces.
Methods for limiting access to VPC Networks will be covered in this module. Firewall rules and Cloud Identity and Access Management (Cloud IAM) fall under this category.
Two setups for sharing VPC networks among Google Cloud projects will be covered in this module. First, we'll discuss shared virtual private cloud (VPC), which enables you to share a network across a number of Google Cloud projects. Next, we'll talk about VPC Network Peering, which lets you set up private communication between projects in the same or other enterprises.
In this module, we will cover the five different types of load balancers available in Google Cloud. We will also review managed instance groups, Cloud Armor and Cloud CDN.
A: Three major network types make up Google's network infrastructure:
All of the machines in the network are connected by the data centre network.
All data centres are connected via a software-based private network.
For user-facing traffic entering the Google network, a software-defined public WAN is used.
A: Google Cloud offers a broad portfolio of networking services built on planet-scale infrastructure that leverages automation, advanced AI, and programmability, enabling enterprises to connect, scale, secure, modernize and optimize their infrastructure.
A: The following are the three types of networks offered by Google Cloud Platform:
Default network.
Auto network.
Custom network.
