Course Description
The terminology, environment, and functionality of IBM Workload Scheduler are introduced in this course. You gain knowledge of distributed environments as well as the Dynamic Workload Console and command-line Workload Scheduler interfaces. You arrange the production day while keeping an eye on the production workflow. Jobs and job stream instances make up the production process, which was created using plan objects. You oversee modifications to the plan, jobs, events, and job streams. You improve production processes and address issues with plans. Additionally, you learn how to use Workload Scheduler for dynamic and event-driven workloads in addition to traditional batch scheduling.
Prerequisites
Before taking this course, make sure that you can use an Internet browser such as Mozilla Firefox & perform basic shell commands in a terminal emulator such as PuTTY or xterm.
