Creating New BigQuery Datasets and Visualizing Insights

Course Overview

In the Data to Insights course series, this is the second course. Here, we'll go over how to add fresh external datasets to BigQuery and use Google Data Studio to display them. We'll also go over advanced SQL techniques like multi-table JOINs and UNIONS, which let you evaluate data from several sources.

Even if you have experience with SQL, you might not be familiar with BigQuery nuances (such managing query cache and table wildcards).

Enroll in the Achieving Advanced Insights with BigQuery course after finishing this one.

FAQs

A: You may analyse your data using a variety of analytics and business intelligence tools that interface with BigQuery, such as Looker Studio, in addition to performing queries in BigQuery. You may start Looker Studio right away from BigQuery in the Google Cloud dashboard after you've done a query.

A: A BigQuery table contains individual records organized in rows. Each paper is composed of columns (also called fields). Every table is defined by a schema that describes the column names, data types, and other information.
