Course Description

 This course teaches IT Professionals to arrange advanced Windows Server services using on-premises, hybrid, & cloud technologies. The course teaches IT Professionals how to support the hybrid abilities of Azure, how to migrate virtual & physical server workloads to Azure IaaS, & how to secure Azure VMs running Windows Server. The training also teaches IT Professionals how to do tasks related to high availability, troubleshooting, & disaster recovery. The study highlights administrative tools & technologies, including Windows Admin Centre, PowerShell, Azure Arc, Azure Automation Update Management, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Azure Security Centre, Azure Migrate, & Azure Monitor.

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, professionals must have the following:

  •  Experience with managing Windows Server operating system & workloads for Windows Server in on-premises settings, such as AD DS, DNS, DFS, and Hyper-V, & File & Storage Services
  • Experience with standard Windows Server management tools (implied in the first prerequisite).
  • Basic knowledge of core Microsoft computing, storage, networking, & virtualization technologies (implied in the first prerequisite).

The module also explains how to harden the security construct of a Windows Server operating system environment. In addition, the module tells about the operating system deployment using Windows Server Update to computers on the network. The module also tells the use of Storage Migration Service to migrate files & file shares from already existing file servers to new servers running Windows Server 2022.
