Course Overview

The design fundamentals for developing a virtualization solution for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops are taught during this advanced 5-day training course. Additionally, you will learn in this programme how to evaluate current environments, investigate various situations, and base design choices on business needs.

Through lectures, lab exercises, and group discussions, this course covers the Citrix Consulting design process and key design considerations. Additional factors and sophisticated setups for multi-location systems and disaster recovery planning will also be covered. You may be ready for the Citrix Certified Expert in Virtualization (CCE-V) exam with the help of this course.

Prerequisites

  • Knowledge of Citrix Virtual-Apps and Desktops 7, Citrix Gateway, and related infrastructure are all prerequisites for this training.

Attendance of CWS-315 or CXD-310 is recommended.

A: To connect to the Citrix server user has to follow the following steps:-

  • Open the Citrix Receiver application.
  • Click the drop-down arrow near the top-right.
  • Click "Accounts" from the menu.
  • On the window "Add or Remove Accounts," click "Add."
  • Enter the new server address.

A: Right-click the Receiver icon in the notification area and select Online Sessions > Logon to Refresh Applications to log in to the Receiver. Username and password must be entered, then click OK.

A: The user can use the following steps to find the server name:-

  • Right-click on the Citrix Receiver notification icon.
  • Select About.
  • In the About Citrix Receiver Window that opens, click on the word "Advanced."
  • Click Connection Center.
  • In the list of active connections, note the application server's name (e.g., D2PCXFRM001).
