Course Description
Find out how to add workflow processing to business apps. For developers and architects who seek to integrate workflow processing into business systems, the Developing Workflow Applications with Red Hat® JBoss® BPM Suite with exam (AD428) is the recommended course.
This course includes the Red Hat Certified Specialist in Business Process Design exam (EX427). The student will gain knowledge of the Red Hat JBoss BPM Suite's architecture, features, fundamental and advanced business process modelling (BPMN 2.0), and workflow integration into JavaTM SE and Java EE applications through practical laboratories. The student will learn how to use Red Hat JBoss Developer Studio to build workflow apps, unit test them, and troubleshoot them. The deployment of business processes and running state monitoring will be covered in class.
Prerequisites for this course
- Firm understanding of Java, including Java development tools (i.e., Maven and Eclipse via Red Hat JBoss Developer Studio).
- Familiarity with general workflow concepts. Business process management (BPM) experience is not required.
- Familiarity with Red Hat Decision Manager 7 (formerly Red Hat JBoss BRMS) is helpful but not required.
