BMC Helix ITSM - Smart IT 21.x: Fundamentals Developing Progressive Web Applications

Course Overview

A Progressive Web Application (PWA) is a category of application software that is distributed over the internet and was created using common web technologies. It is designed to function on a variety of platforms, including desktop and mobile devices, when used with a standards-compliant browser. You can enable progressive views for either an out-of-the-box (OOTB) form or a bespoke one in BMC Developer Studio. You may build adaptable applications using PWA that offer a dynamic, contemporary user experience. Like Smart IT, PWA offers a contemporary, mobile-friendly user interface. Like Mid Tier, PWA is likewise adaptable and extendable. This course combines in-class instruction with hands-on lab activities to walk students through the fundamental ideas, characteristics, and capabilities of PWA and its creation in BMC Developer Studio. Students will develop skills in building various components like Advanced filters, Parallel Active links using the new properties added in BMC Developer Studio to support PWA. They will also learn about the layouts and panels, configuration elements, and localization for PWA. Additionally, they will explore the customization use cases for Smart IT Progressive Views.
