Basics of Sequencing

Training Overview

In this 3-day training, professionals will learn the purpose & benefits to the Blue Yonder Sequencing application, focusing on the Classic Optimizer, typically used in CPG & process manufacturing environments. Professionals will experience those benefits first-hand as they build a manufacturing model, run the optimizer, & explore schedule solutions in the Schedule Board. Day One of the training gives professionals a thorough grounding in the concepts & Vocabulary required to work with the Sequencing algorithm. Days two & three are spent working on the tool, exploring each user view, building out critical model components, troubleshooting & tuning the algorithm model, & evaluating the schedule solutions. This training is highly interactive & provides extensive hands-on experience in the Sequencing application. Note that the other Sequencing optimization engine, called the Run Optimizer, is trained in separate training. Optimizer selection is typically made during the sales cycle, so you should take the Sequencing training that covers the Optimizer that will be used in your environment.
