- You will learn to use two APM features - Anomaly Detection & Automated Transaction Diagnostics - available in cSaaS controllers that apply Artificial Intelligence(AI) to monitor & diagnose performance issues in applications. The course will provide an overview of AppDynamics AI services that drive the automatic detection of abnormal behavior in application performance.
- For the Anomaly Detection feature, professionals will gain an understanding of how custom AI services build Machine Learning models for Business Transactions (BT), detect abnormal behavior in BT metrics, generate alerts, & surface suspected root cause(s) for applications. You will learn how to enable & configure this feature for applications, review anomaly events, & evaluate suspected causes identified by the Automated Root Cause Analysis (RCA) service. Professionals will also learn how actions & policies can be configured to automate responses to anomaly events.
- For the Automated Transaction Diagnostics (ATD) feature, you will learn how custom AI services ingest large amounts of metric & snapshot data to detect performance issues & analyze top cause(s) for BT performance issues. You will learn how to access this feature for a BT & how to investigate transaction snapshots & contextual insights provided for each of the suspected causes.
- The course also comprehensively summarizes the distinction between these two features and how they compare to Health Rules in the AppDynamics APM platform.

Diagnostic sessions let you trigger a timed session in which AppDynamics captures transaction snapshots for a business transaction at a more frequent interval than you set. In the session, AppDynamics captures complete call graphs for the transactions.
A: To attend the training session, you should have an active desktop or Laptop with the required specification and a good internet connection to access the labs.
A: Technical issues are unpredictable & might occur with you as well. Participants must ensure that they have the system with the required configuration and good internet speed to access online labs.
