Akamai Bot Manager Advanced

This module introduces Akamai's suite of Bot Manager products. Bot Manager Standard, Bot Manager Premier Web, & Bot Manager Premier SDK will be presented. How Bot Manager integrates with other Akamai delivery & security products, & the order in which each product executes will be covered. This module will set the context for the remainder of the course.

This module will dive deeply into our Bot Manager Premier Web product. Topics covered include the foundations of the product workflow, appropriate product scoping & configuration, configuring advanced mitigation actions such as CAPTCHA, & defining exclusions. Additional case studies featuring specific problems & solutions will be highlighted.

• This module will provide a deep dive into how analysis is performed on Bot Manager Premier Web integrations. Our suite of Bot Manager Reporting tools, including Web Security Analytics, Origin Reporting Failure reports, & other troubleshooting tools (including tools available in Luna), will be covered in detail. Threat reviews & how to perform threat analysis & configuration tuning will also be reviewed

This module will deeply explore the Bot Manager Premier Mobile SDK product. The foundations of how the product works with mobile devices, & the configuration needed by customer developers to fully integrate their Mobile SDK into Akamai to protect mobile endpoints will be covered in detail

•  This module will provide a deep dive into how analysis is performed on Bot Manager Premier SDK integrations. The reporting & other troubleshooting tools (including custom visibility rules, safelists, & the tools available in Luna) unique to the SDK will be covered in detail, along with an in-depth review of false positive & false negative analysis.

• This module will provide insight into plans for our Bot Manager suite of products. Topics reviewed will include new detection profile capabilities, base & advanced detections, a managed service offering, & new challenge & mitigation actions currently planned or under development.

• This module will provide an overview of Managed Security Services (MSS), service & support model for the Akamai cloud security product portfolio. Topics reviewed will include proactive monitoring & alerting per BMP-protected login endpoint, enabling SOCC with tools to perform quicker analyses during an ongoing event, as well as reporting & advisory services

The Akamai Bot Manager Advanced course thoroughly overviews our Bot Manager suite of products, including Bot Manager Standard, Bot Manager Premier Web, & Bot Manager Premier SDK. It also describes Managed Bot Manager Premier service. This course continues our Bot Manager Foundations course, which provides learners with a more comprehensive knowledge of product features, troubleshooting & analysis tools. The BMP SDK will be covered in detail, including integration steps for developers.
