Course Overview
RM is a powerful records management solution that transforms the eDOCS DM product into a fully functional Records Management solution, creating an organized, secure environment that manages the complete lifecycle of all physical and electronic corporate knowledge assets--from creation to ultimate disposition.
This three-day session, targeted at the DM Administrator/Records Manager, will cover the RM architecture, the User Interfaces (DM/RM Webtop, DM/RM Extensions, and InfoCenter), configuration, and the administration of the RM product family including the File Plan configuration. We will build a File Plan, and plan and create the Records Retention/Disposition Rules. These rules build on the Events which use Cutoff/Rollover, Storage and Disposal Actions. Relationships in the File Plan, Sections and Locations will be created to help enhance your File Plan. There are several reports available to extract the RM information.
Prerequisites
● Understanding of Records Management Principles
● 1-1104 Using eDOCS DM or one year of field experience highly desirable.
● Understanding of DM Administration is helpful but not required.
