The first of two courses addressing the fundamental server management duties required for Red Hat Enterprise Linux

IT professionals without prior Linux system administration knowledge should take Red Hat System Administration I (RH124). By concentrating on fundamental administration responsibilities, the course equips students with knowledge of Linux administration. By presenting important command-line ideas and enterprise-level tools, this course also serves as a foundation for students who want to work as full-time Linux system administrators.

In a two-course sequence, beginning with this one, a computer expert who has no prior understanding of Linux system administration can become a fully competent Linux administrator. Red Hat System Administration II, the subsequent course, develops these ideas further (RH134)
