Organize and set up massive JBoss Enterprise Application Platform installations.
Students can learn how to deploy and manage Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform in large-scale production systems by taking Red Hat JBoss Application Administration II (AD348). The knowledge gained in Red Hat JBoss Application Administration I is expanded upon in this course to give experienced administrators a broader grasp of how to work with JBoss EAP by focusing on installation, clustering, deployments, scripting, management, messaging, and security (AD248).
This course delves deeper into JBoss migrations, live patching, clustering, and domain management through CLI scripting, custom coding, and network considerations while concentrating on automating tasks using the new command line interface (CLI) features of EAP 7. It also delves deeper into the security systems of JBoss EAP, including the management interface, securing resources like JMS queues, implementing SSL for the web interface, RBAC, and network considerations. Additionally, ActiveMQ Artemis administration, clustering, and tuning are covered in JBoss Application Administration II (AD348).
JBoss EAP 7 is the foundation of this course.
Deployments to production and cloud environments
A: The open-source, cross-platform Java application server JBoss Application Server (JBoss AS) was created by JBoss, a unit of Red Hat Inc. Java applications and other Web-based software are implemented using the open-source Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) implementation JBoss AS.
A: Products such as JBOSS are licensed by processor cores. They are based on the lesser of the total virtual cores in use across the virtual machines or the number of physical cores in the server. Similar to the concept above, but a single license covers 2 cores.
A: Red Hat® AMQ based on open source communities like Apache ActiveMQ & Apache Kafka is a flexible messaging platform that enabling real-time integration, delivers information reliably & connecting the Internet of Things (IoT).
A: A Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA®) is capable of performing the fundamental system administration tasks necessary in Red Hat Enterprise Linux installations.
A: By this course, establish network connectivity, checks on Lab based work, facilitative discussions to ensure maximum skill transfer and retention, installation, manage physical storage and perform basic security administration are the number of tasks which a student can perform after doing this course.
