Each lesson in this course contains hands-on labs so that you may use the functions firsthand while also aiming to improve your skills to engage with GKE. To assist you in selecting the best Google Cloud services to build your cloud solution, Professionals will introduce you to a variety of Google Cloud services and features in the first module. You'll discover how to use Cloud Build to create a container and how to store it in the Container Registry. The features of Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine, often known as GKE, will also be compared and contrasted. You'll create a Kubernetes cluster using GKE, deploy Pods to a GKE cluster, inspect and manage Kubernetes objects, as well as conceptualize the Kubernetes architecture.

This module helps you start with the proper framework of concepts. After reviewing the fundamentals of cloud computing, you will learn how Google Cloud's resources around the world are organized into regions and zones. You'll also know how you can arrange the resources you use in Google Cloud so that you can manage them. Finally, you'll meet the tools to connect to Google Cloud and allocate, change, and release resources.

In this module, you will learn about software containers and their benefits for application deployment. You'll configure and build containers. You'll also learn about the functions container that management solutions like Kubernetes provide. You'll encounter the advantages of Google Kubernetes Engine compared to building your container-management infrastructure.

In this module, you'll learn the components of a Kubernetes cluster and how they work together. You'll deploy a Kubernetes cluster using Google Kubernetes Engine and deploy Pods to a GKE cluster. You'll also view and manage several beneficial kinds of Kubernetes objects.

This module will teach you the components used to manage Kubernetes workloads. You'll learn about the kubectl command and creating Kubernetes workloads called deployments. You'll examine networking services within Kubernetes and the different types of Kubernetes storage abstractions.
