Getting Started With Application Development

Course Overview

The goal of this course is to teach application developers how to create cloud-native applications that smoothly integrate managed services from Google Cloud. Participants gain knowledge of the best practises for application development through presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on labs. They also learn how to use the proper Google Cloud storage services for object storage, relational data, caching, and analytics. Node.js, Java, or Python labs can be completed by students in their preferred language.

Prerequisites

Completed Google Cloud Fundamentals or equivalent experience; Knowledge of Node.js, Java, or Python; basic familiarity with Linux operating system environments and command-line tools
