Training Overview
If you are an experienced Nutanix administrator, this training will serve as a deep dive that gives you a nuanced, rich understanding of the Nutanix platform, & will help you get the most out of your Nutanix solutions. AAPM is segregated into six major sections, each focused on performance improvements & advanced administration techniques for different aspects of your clusters:
• Storage- Take a deep dive into the AOS storage services, different aspects of Acropolis Distributed Storage, storage optimization, & storage best practices for application workloads.
• Networks: Learn how to optimize physical & virtual workloads, as well as how to implement Flow Virtual Networking & Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs).
• V.M.s: Learn about sizing the CVM & Prism Central V.M.s, alternate methods of V.M. provisioning (such as via CLI), how to work with GPUs, & how to improve V.M. storage & network performance.
• Security: Understand important features such as authentication, RBAC, IAM, & encryption. Learn how to use essential security products, such as Flow Security Central & Flow Network Security.
• Analyzing Problems: Explore ways to monitor & identify health issues, network performance, V.M. performance, & cluster performance.
• Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery: Learn about Nutanix data backup, web-scale data protection, protection from ransomware, self-service restore, & third-party integrations. You will also learn how to use protection domains & Nutanix Leap for disaster recovery.
Prerequisites
- Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Administration (ECA) classroom training or an NCP-MCI certification
- Basic knowledge of Nutanix data center administration techniques
- Familiarity with traditional virtualization storage architectures
- Comfort with Linux command-line interface

The Nutanix Certified Expert - Multicloud Infrastructure (NCX-MCI) Certification recognizes multi-cloud infrastructure practitioners who have mastered Nutanix enterprise cloud solution design skills.
The NCX-MCI certification allows professionals to validate their advanced design skills & product knowledge by successfully presenting a template-guided solution to a panel of experts. Those who want to go deeper into the core AOS product, & for those who will be engaged in the post-sales implementation of G2000-scale solutions & the documentation required for success, the NPX Program is the next step.
To recertify an NCA v5 certification, you need to earn the NCA v6 or any NCP v6 certification.
A Nutanix v5 or v6 certification is obtained by passing a v5 or v6 exam. If you took multiple v5 or v6 exams (i.e., NCP-MCI 5.15 & NCP-MCI 5.20) related to the same certification, you would only see the relevant certification (i.e., NCP-MCI 5).
