Course Overview
This course is intended for developers in Content Server intending to develop, extend, or customize widgets for the Content Server Smart View. This class covers the Content Server User Interface Software Development Kit (CSUI-SDK), widget generation, and leveraging elements of the CSUI-SDK to develop custom widgets. You will learn recommended development practices for coding your widget so that it integrates with Content Server through the REST API.
Prerequisites
● 4-0140 – Content Server IDE (CSIDE) Fundamentals
● 4-0144 – REST API and Content Web Service Fundamentals
● Intermediate development skills in JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, CSS, and OScript
● Experience with the following is optional but highly beneficial:
o Node.js, npm, GitHub, Grunt, and Yeoman
