This business process allows you to create & maintain deliveries. A delivery document is a central object in the Shipping component. When a delivery is made, shipping activities such as delivery schedule, picking & packing are triggered in the system.
The outbound delivery process includes all shipping activities such as packing, picking, transportation & goods issues. Information regarding shipping planning is saved in inbound delivery, the status of shipping activities is monitored, & all the data collected during the shipping process is recorded.
The delivery types defined in the standard system include EL: Inbound delivery (shipping notification) and LB: Delivery for subcontracting orders. LF: Outbound Delivery. LO: Delivery without reference (no sales order necessary in order to create delivery)
