Students are expected to independently navigate within IdentityIQ, & write both XML & Java code. It is highly recommended that students participate in a provisioning implementation project soon after course completion.
This course does not focus on the Accelerator Pack or Rapid Setup implementation tools, & the VM does not have either tool pre-installed. The strategies & skills taught in this course are most important to implementers who will define their business-specific workflows & provisioning processes instead of augmenting those tools' offerings. The system is still appropriate for customers who are using these implementation tools.

A workflow is a set of steps completed every time a specific event occurs. Workflows do work for you, automatically performing a series of actions within IdentityNow that you can configure in response to a trigger.
SailPoint IdentityIQ is an identity & access control software platform custom-built for complex enterprises. It delivers the entire lifecycle & compliance controlled for provisioning, access requests, access certifications, & separation of duties.
A: IdentityIQ Essentials Instructor-led course or IdentityIQ Essentials eLearning course (required)
Experience writing Java code & editing XML
IdentityIQ Implementation: Rules, Scripts, & API course (recommended)
A: To attend the training session, you should have operational Desktops or Laptops with the required specification and a good internet connection to access the labs.
