The InfoSphere MDM Algorithms V11 is designed for the professionals those who want to find match member records, link member records, and perfect a search algorithm for their InfoSphere MDM Virtual and Physical implementation. This training program provides the professionals the knowledge and understanding to utilize and customize the algorithm configurations deployed to the InfoSphere MDM Probabilistic Matching Engine (PME) for a Virtual and Physical MDM implementations. The PME is the heart of all Matching, Linking, and Searching for entities (Person, Organization, etc) which exist in InfoSphere MDM.

This training program has a heavy emphasis on the exercises, where the professionals will implement the customization that is discussed in the training program to perform matching, linking, and searching on fields not provided by the default implementation.

At the end of this training program it is expected that the professionals will feel comfortable, in customizing an algorithm for the PME for a Virtual and Physical MDM implementations.

Radiant Techlearning offers the InfoSphere MDM Algorithms V11 training program in Classroom & Virtual Instructor Led / Online mode.

Duration: 3 days

Learning objective

  • Understand the ways in which Matching and Linking work for both the Virtual Implementations of InfoSphere MDM
  • Learn the ways in which Duplicate Suspect Processing and Search (using PME) work for Physical Implementations of InfoSphere MDM
  • Know and understand the MDM configuration project and database tables that are used by the PME
  • Understand the PME Algorithms (Standardization, Bucketing and Comparison steps) and the way to create and customize the algorithms with the help of the workbench
  • Learn the ways to analyze the Bucketing steps in an algorithm
  • Understand the ways to generate weights for a given algorithm and also the ways in which those weights are generated based on a sample database set.
  • Understand the ways to analyze the weights which are generated using the workbench
  • Learn the ways to deploy the PME configuration for the Virtual implementations of InfoSphere MDM.
  • Understand the ways to deploy the PME configuration for a Physical implementation of InfoSphere MDM.
  • Understand the integration between the Physical module and the PME

  • Professionals should either have complete knowledge about (1Z801), or experience with InfoSphere MDM
